Member: 2368368 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Odd iPhone 4s Behaviour after Power / Sensor Cable Replacement Now I have the following issues and am wondering if there they all point to a single hardware issue (bad / damaged cable or something) or if there could be several connection or other problems post-repair. - Power button is stuck down. Works, but hyper sensitive and 95% of the time the phone behaves as if I’m holding the button down (i.e. I get the “side to power off” screen). - Cannot triple tap home button. Acts as if double tap was done. Every. time. - Ambient light sensor no longer works. In settings the slider just defaults to the middle and never moves when the lighting conditions change, even when they change drastically. - Phone will periodically act as if it’s just been plugged in, while it’s already plugged in. (i.e. it will be charging and then ding / vibrate and show the battery icon on the lock screen. Same behaviour as when you initially plug it in, but it’s already plugged in). That’s just what I’ve noticed so far in the past 2 days since the repair. Any suggestions on where to start would be greatly appreciated! |
