proximity sensor iphone 4 not working after screen replacement - GSM-Forum

hello,

i replaced broken display on white iphone 4 into new white iphone 4 display.
proximity sensor works with original display. on new display i tryed also with black marker. but its not working

have anyone solution for this?

Just do the trick with "tape with small holes"
Search in forum for photos.

i will show you.... take a tape.. make 2 holes on the tape for the 2 sensors

can i use the 3M Tape that is use right now for iphone 3G / 3Gs Touchscreens?

is working also for 4s? have picture?

i think you have to use black tape becuase the light dosent Passes through the black
and i think its good for 4s too
