Reflow before Reball?

Hey guys i just wanted to know what your experience is with doing reflows on the audio ic chip of iphone 4. I was thinking of trying this before a reball. At the the moment the problem of people not being able to hear me talk only happens occasionally. What is your experience with reflows. Do they work or is reball the only option?

Reballing Audio IC is the only permanent solution.

reflows COULD solve the problem... PROPER reballing WILL SOLVE the problem.

Remember that all BGAs are surrounded with epoxy glue. Reflowing them is dangerous without cleaning them.

True.
Glued BGAs are too danger to reflow. Most case will ended with broken balls underneath.

Better to reball directly.
