Soldering LCD Connector in iPhone 4S

Hello, I have a question regarding soldering back the connectors to the motherboard of a phone, in this particular case iphone 4s.
What techniques do you use? soldering with a hot air? do you put the solder on the pads before soldering the port?

Thanks for tips

this is how i do that:
1. Take solder wick and using a soldering iron wick all the solder you can from the connector pads.
2. put some flux on the connector.
3. using hot air gun, put it on 280c and heat the connector until you see that when you touch it with your tweezers it is moving, than carefully lift it up from the main board.
4. after removed connector, wick again all the solder left.
5. put some solder on your iron, and put some flux on the connector, and put some solder on one pad only.
6. place the new connector and heat that pad that you have put some solder on it until you see that one of the connector legs is holded in place using this pad.
7. than start to solder all left "legs" of the connector.
