Micro electronics works need looooots of experience. I suggest you to take some old pub and do many trials to find goodcways.

Anyway, you will work on bga so need to use either hot air or infrared technology.

Hello.. First of all you will need a Microscope. Second, a hot air station. Third a good pair of anti magnetic tweezers, flux and a loooooooooooot of patiance.

As excessive said i would recommend to start with an old pcb which you can throw into trash if your experiments fails. This Kind of soldering keeps a lot of surprises for you. Start with the smallest IC and then try bigger ones. You have to care a lot of for temperature, and air flow.

If there is black resin around the chip, remove that first.
Then try with at least 250-350 C to remove the chip.

Be aware of the black resin! Its most of the time underfilled with the IC. If you pull too early your board is damaged because of ripping of the little pads on the board.

Maybe i will post some pics of successful removing...
