Member: 2634857 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 25 | Hi there PM I did a write up abt TriStar testing on my website blog can't post link on here been told off already for putting it up . Also testing TriStar tester PCB. Like the previous guy said when idle consumption current should go to 0.01 , I had one pulling 120ma on idle draining battery but all TriStar functions worked USB, and charging , symbol functions etc . TriStar_bypass at 2.4v instead of 3.0v and also the overprotection line from Tigris to TriStar was faulty . 3 days on and battery at 78% on idle .....from 10 hrs 100%-20% before.... Member: 2634857 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 25 | This should help shed some light on TriStar .. There is also a post testing the TriStar tester and how to use it . Prefer the normal way of testing the voltages and opening the device compared to the tester tool... https://goo.gl/NHyZM4 Regards Dee Sent from my X98 Plus 3G using Tapatalk |

Member: 2634857 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 25 | You will get ol at pin 4 as its the USB line and is held shut. That tester is only any good for current testing really best way is to manually test voltages. Its being sold and misinformed of the usage. Only a few pins reach TriStar e75 data lines waste of time if you ask me. Its use was knockteslas TriStar testing kit with two multimeters linked together one reading current pull and the other supplying 4 v via a battery . Hope it helps Sent from my X98 Plus 3G using Tapatalk |
