Touch Screen iPhone6 replace thicker than original

Hello.

I have an iPhone 6. Days ago I broke the screen. Bought a new replacment, digitizer + screen. I had to move home button, proximity sensor, earpiece and front camera from old screen to new one. Followed some video tutorials and did it.
I reassamble everything, and all works as expected. So far so good.
But new case, does not fit perfectly, I'll try to explain:

Around all the edge of the phone, new case protrudes around 0,5 or 1 milimeter.
Just on top of volume buttons, it protrudes almost 2 milimeters, wich causes that you can see the light of the screen through that point.
Original case has two holes in the same point, but I think they are thickest in the replace.

Anyone has replaced the screen, and new one fits perfect? I bough mine from a eBay seller in the UK, but I assume that all those replacements parts come from the same company. So, could that be my fault, or could that be a problem on the design of the case?

Thanks in advance

This was a common problem with the very first batch of LCD in the uk. I think it is sorted now.

This issue is probably caused by the frame adhered to the screen. The high copy frame is about 0.5mm higher than the original frame which will cause the screen looks thicker than the orignal one. Here I found a video and a blog explaining this issue:

So as I imagined, it's a faulty replace and the solution is to buy another one with better quality. Thanks for the info, I did not find anything about that before.

Thanks

Maybe you have got a defective product. Ebay sellers often give high copy replacements to customers. I suggest you to choose a reliable supplier like hcqs to buy.
