What to do if your Iphone 7/7+ home button stop working after repair? Are long boot?

Hi, Im Joe From GoTech Repairs, and I am an experienced technician and I am very surprised of how many people are having these problems!

Here is what you do if your home button stopped working after a repair.
1. replace the front camera, might have damaged it!
2. try a different screen! Sometimes it is a defect!
3. be careful taking off front camera and home button, they are much more fragile than the 5 and 6 series iphones.

SO IT DOESNT HAPPEN TO YOU AGAIN! Follow these steps so you DON'T HAVE ISSUES EVER AGAIN!

this is my question,

what do you do if the home button is damage? Will you able to still boot on the home menu?

because what i noticed was, if there were no home button this iphone 7 and 7 plus, it would stuck on apple logo..Have you experience that?or notice that?

can we still replace the home button with not original one just to boot and use it? because i haven't try it yet...

what I can tell you is, try a new screen as well. buy a generic button and put it on there and it SHOULD work. 50-50 chance

Also what i can tell you is if the button is still in tact, and not ripped, then most likely it isnt damaged. try different screens, try a new front camera, it will get it to turn on.

bro, what im trying to say was, i actually did change how many times screens of an iphone 7 plus, if i disconnected the home button, phone would stuck on logo, but if i connect it, it would boot to normal...Dont tell me there were a problem with our screen? Correct me if im wrong with this because that was i just noticed..

and one thing that i asked was, what if the home button got ripped? can we still replace it with non genuin or copy home button just to make it work? will be able still to boot on the home menu?

Generic screens sometime come with defect home button flex. So if the home button does not have any damage then change new screen

Also without the home button the phone still able to turn on, Just take longer than usual

In theory, Change to generic home button will not restore the home button function because Apple use software to lock it there is no mechanical part in the home button itself. I have try Apple home button from a different phone to see if the home button will fix but still fail.

****also, should take note that when the audio IC broken, the phone take very long to turn on too.

If anyone tried new home button and partially make it work at least for the home button function (not the finger print scanner) please let me know

iphone 7 plus death and dumb

a friend gave me an iphone 7 plus but the *****piece and earpiece are not working(death and dumb) and it takes so much time to boot up. When somebody calls it rings all right but when I answer the call I can't hear and the other party cannot also hear me. And again when you're making a call the speaker option is greyed.
Please help me solve this problem, thank you.

Dead home button - shorted pin 4

If you did not disconnect the battery on 7/7 plus screen change and pin 4 shorts then it disables the home button function completely forever.... No fix possible and has to be sent back to Apple....
