Member: 2334955 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 20 | 380c to 420 airflow 4 to 6 i dont tend to use seconds as a guide i use an exacto knife when it slides under gentle upwards pressure to flick off the nand. |

Member: 1825965 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 874 | to consider also the problem of cooling the opposite side of the board ..es iphone 5 / 5s for overheating CPU. so before removing the nand place the board on a metal part to dissipate heat, invent something. Member: 2582013 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | hello guy today i tried to remove the nand of ipad 4 but i couldnt i lift some pads from the nand socket so i ****ed up the logic board ... i am using hakko 802 hot air station and with big nozzle about 1 minute at 380C it couldnt remove nice and clean.. before start removing the nand i remove the glue , preheat about 1 minute the board and after that i start ... now i have ordered another board and will try again , but before that will practice on another boards and will wait for some advice .. i have a plan now , will start from the CPU direction , by removing this metal frames and from there will be more more easy i think , because today i tried from corners and i couldnt |

Member: 41057 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 5 | today changed two nand on ipads mini3. old nand desoldered with 300c, balls added to new nand with 240c on preheather and then soldered nand to mainboard with hotair on 270c. Both ipads works fine |
