You have a problem with your PC and Card-Reader drivers but not with Infinity CDMA-Tool software.

What to do Install Dongle/Card-Reader drivers: Infinity-Box - Support

nfinity cdma range check error solution

uninstall all egate driver from add/remove program in windows xp. then remove all smart cards plug into usb ports. now install Infinity-Box_Drivers_v1.4.exe, these driver installation folder created on desktop with InfinityBox Drivers folder, now run Setup_W2k_XP.exe within egate folder & fidi driver in fidi folder. now plug infinity cdma dongle in pc usb port. it will take driver automatically, if not given the path "C:\Program Files\InfinityBox\Drivers\box\e-gate_W2k_XP_Vista" with driver wizard. I have same problem, and i solve it by this method in xp,
now run infinity cdma, u see range check error gone,

It was driver conflict..
