ERROR: At least 1.49 Box's Firmware version is required
 
I am getting the above error message. The complete message is:

ERROR: At least 1.49 Box's Firmware version is required.
Current version is RECOVERY. Please update BOX Firmware.

Yet when I run the update, I get the following message:

Getting RIFF Box Info...OK
RIFF Box Bootcore version 2.00...OK

Connecting to the Updates Server...OK
Downloading new Firmware from Server...OK

Setting Update Mode...OK
Updating Box's Firmware...OK
Restarting box, please wait...OK
Firmware Update Completed OK
Current Firmware Version: Recovery (RIFFBOX2)

What can be done to correct this so that the box can operated? I am running Win 10 Enterprise (64-bit)

check device manager for Update Port driver which is must for firmware update
replug box create Update port ...Recovery firmware will be flashed.

Thanks. Although, I am not clear on what you are saying... The RIFF Box is showing up in device manager as USB Service Device (COM9) and if I attempt to update the driver Windows tells me that is already up to date.

1. Connect RIFF BOX 2 in PC,
2. Go Device Manager,
3. Right Click on USB Service Device (COM9) & Select Manually Update Driver
I)........Select Brouse for drivers on your computer,
II).......Select the device driver you want to install for this hardware.
III)......Now here you see RIFF BOX II Firmware Update Driver, just select & Click Next
IV)......After Driver Installation successfully see in Device Manager now there
RIFF BOX II Firmware Update Port (COM9) show...

Thanks for the detailed information. Although, I continue to have a issue as the driver will not update. I will post screen shots in a bit once I get to my FTP computer.

After attaching the RIFF Box and stating the JTAG Manager software, it appears to be communicating properly...

When looking at Device Manager, the RIFF Box is showing as follows...

When I attempt to install the RIFF Box Firmware driver, these are current drivers I have to choose from...

No Need any external Driver....
Just install official Driver from installation directory....

I already give u instroduction, just follow & do apply same method...

Again say you please Apply this process....

1. Connect RIFF BOX 2 in PC,

I have followed these steps exactly and continue to get the message stated above once I choose the RIFF box driver.
