few area flash


Dear mr. Legiza
sir put some more light on riff. Can we flash some middle part of flash chip to patch the firmware. If yes then how please tell . If no then please implement this to save time n limited risk cover.

sir it ok to flash whole chip when phone is dead. but if we need to unlock some phone or modem then why should we flash it fully. if we know which area of firmware need to change in flash chip(patch) to make that unlock or alive dead one from boot area dead.


ex: flash chip size 8 mb and need to change area from 1024 to 1048 to make to unlock one. and 0000 to 0999 for boot repair

So what prevents You from doing it ? You have DCC TAB, where You can select which address area to flash.

For example this time i need S8500 boot area memory address or EFS area memory address (start point and lengh). Is it available without heavy reversing skills?

i have tried it to use this a******* but i think im using wrong lenght or address format, next time i will going to learn more about memory addressing.
