Having a Problem with i545 and riff box

I have checked all of my connections and adjusted the tck speed trying each one available and after 200 khz i get the no response from the riff box error and anything lower i get
Resurrection sequence started.
Establish communication with the phone...OK
Initializing internal hardware configuration...OK
Uploading resurrector data into memory...OK
Starting communication with resurrector...FAILED
ERROR: Wrong DCC data length received.

even going as low as 20khz i am still getting this error. I cant seem to find any hardware problems with the device! is there something wrong with the riff box? or is my .dll corrupted? help?

You may need to restart Your PC and check the Windows for viruses. If You can - better use Windows 7 to work with RIFF.

Next, this can be caused by bad connection, or simply phone may have some hardware fault.

I have checked all the leads and they are all clean and securely soldered. I havent tried just changing out the lead wires yet but i dont know what difference that would make? any ideas on what hardware i should check?
