HTC whit dead eMMC repaire ?

For these phones , mostly htc it will be posible to reprogram a "fresh" eMMC the fsbl using the spi interface ? or in the worst case the mmc interface using riff and maybe some extra hw (like external card reader and wires) for spi i think even the riff can be used if will be made a firmware upgrade for this.

Its just a idee.

Problem is, even if You replace it with blank chip, it would be impossible to boot it via JTAG since JTAG is enabled by FSBL. Blank eMMC - no FSBL, no JTAG.

For a quite long time it's possible to repair all MSM82x5 based HTC-s via USB cable and RIFF.

Basically, Any HTC model based on MSM7230, MSM8255, MSM8255T, MSM8655m MSM8655T CPU is supported, combined with Qualcom EBR/MBR Plugin tool.

This feature is mainly designed for users who can (and need) replace eMMC chips in HTC phones. Following previously established error 0x44 irrepairable problem, this method enables You to repair any HTC model from supported list.
