i brought a riff box but unable to register server problem - GSM-Forum

i have install latest exe 1.54 but it shows cheking for update nothing more

when i try to register the RIFF box i always got

Open serial port...OK
Connecting to the RIFF Box...OK

Getting RIFF Box Info...OK
RIFF Box Firmware Version: 1.34

Connecting to the Updates Server../

i wait may be 20 min without any progress, i try may be 5 times same thing!!!

i did as mentioned in this link , BUT i always got

Getting RIFF Box Info...OK
RIFF Box Firmware Version: 1.34

Connecting to the Updates Server../

always same thing!!!! nothing changed!!!!!!

when i start the SW it asks for User and PASS, i put the desired user/pass then it connecting to server for ever!!!!, i check the link it said you have to check the host files, but the link is not working!!!! how to fix the host files ???
