I9100 replace emmc - GSM-Forum

Hi All, I have few phones with dead emmc. All boards in new conditions and dead after download wrong firmware. Can't repair boot, error dead emmc. So, changed emmc, phone repair boot, operation complete. But I cant enter phone to download mode. What can I do to repair boards? Thanks.

Hi
That's it...if you have fine chip....i mean if you used work chip,phone should have DL-Mode...
So,if you don't have dl-mode,You need replace new one

I am get out emmc from board, put batery to phone and connect to computer. Device manager find hardware S5PC220. Put emmc chip on board, do jtag. But can't get download mode. So connect phone to computer, and have same result new hardware S5PC220. I think emmc work well, i can do jtag, i can connect to emmc via plugin and read sbl1 and sbl2 partition. But in I9100 we have boot partition, partition 0. Via emmc plugin I can't read this partition, size 0, this hiden partition.

sbl
kernel
if pbl damaged we got new hardware S5PC220, this from irom
We need update to jtag I9100, repair boot, sbl1 and sbl2 partitions.
Same result i see in I9000, repaired via unbrekable mod from xda developer AdamOutler
