Question @ Legija and team : Wildfire S touch screen unstable problem...

@ Legija and RIFF team

Wish to ask you about this strange problem maybe you met it and know the source pls.I am meeting an ever increasing amount of units of this model with this same problem after changing its digitizer. The unlock ring at first wont move at first touch and then after some 10-20 seconds works (but quite in an awkward way). This repeats itself whenever the phone is locked. Otherwise the phone works normally. Tried various types of brands, even original digitizers with the same effect.

Could this be some internal value such as the proximity sensor pls? I cannot understand what is going on. Am hoping that there is something i can use with RIFFbox to help me solve this problem.

Thanks for any feedback and advice

MISC_MFG partition contains board revision info, from where software reads what drivers to load upon startup.
Since You need solution after changing original digitizer, i have no freaking idea what to write there.

Easy to fix this issue use goldcard made from x*c clip insert it follow the procedure from x*c clip, click volume down for diag before you do this make sure the wildfire s is flat down on a surface and then it will start calibrating the digitizer and its done :d

this solution is not working. tested. touch panel will work but not the right side and also the home, back, etc... buttons.

Now looking for solution.

note: there are 2 types of touch panels for wildfire S. maybe this is the problem.

Yes, You can.
You can use "Qualcomm fullflash image processing tool" from Useful plugins TAB.

You flashed just empty files lol

Once you "get partitions from device", You actually need to READ given partition, not just save empty created placeholders.

So, procedure should be like this:
1. Connect working phone, click "Get partition from device"
2. Select MISC_MFG partition, and click "Read partition"
3. Connect dead and click "Flash partition"

Of course, both phones must have 2kb page size.
