need help i917 hang sam-logo


i hv 7 sam-i917 att. one is working and 6 is hang on sam logo now i conect working phone in riff wnt read full dump but having some trouble

same as my problem on in this post

Select Samsung i8700 and read full flash via DCC TAB.

Sure, phone powered off. For some reason only phones with killed MIBIB wont restart during reading process.

Only 100% working solution for this is as follows:

Go to Useful Plugins TAB and start Qualcomm fullflash image processing tool, click "Get partitions from device".

In upper window, You'll have list of partitions. Select (by double click) following partitions to read:

MIBIB, SIM_Secure, FSBL, OSBL and APPSBL.
Click "Read Selected". Once reading is finished right click to any partition and select "Save as RIFF Fullflash Image".

This will create image file which contains only radio boot and SBL partitions.
Then simply write those partitions to dead unit, and if there is nothing else damaged, phone will enter download mode.
