JTAG Samsung i5800 (Galaxy 3)

NOKOUT:
Adapter need to connect to molex connector on phone board - in 90% of cases PCB don't have this connector installed so you need to solder as on shown picture special 10 pin molex into it. It's quite simple and for sure simpler that soldering wries - after this you can install JTAG adapter to repair as shown on video. You can buy additional molex connectors in future

Mounted JIG - ready for rock....

for me personally is easier to solder wire to small pins than to solder molex. for me this is not good solution. better do jtags like for i9000, this one is stable and good.

please note that Molex are soldered even in official Samsung service point - so if boot are demaged they also apply molex and then repair boot. For my personally soldering molex takes less than 1 minute.... and it's for sure more safe thaty wires... i see plently of phones with demaged pads due somone just take up wire and track (pad) from board goes off...... soldering are very simple: just clean pads, put flux, put molex on it and solder positioning pins... after this just solder pins.... similar as in TQFP chips etc...... if you will solder few then soldering next will be as a peace of cake

but everybody can choose if it's beter to solder wires or solder molex....

I like the new molex cables, but isnt posibly to mount molex connector on flexible cable?
the one used for unlocking htc?

Samsung kit.. 1pcs pcb connected to riff, then some difrent flexi cables with difrent molex connectors to be able to service new samsung phones.

Fit it al in custom plastic housing
