Member: 1501506 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 47 | [Question] Erase Flash Block ERRORS... Here is my question: On a couple of the HTC 1024MB HD2's I've received from customers, the phone was not able to boot into any OS after a flash. I attempted to erase full ROM Address 1 and rewrite a full 1024 dump I know is good. On both phones, the erase function had erase flash block errors. I'm assuming this points to a defective NAND chip which is what I'm telling the customers. Any advice? I've repaired over 20 HD2's both 512 and 1024 models so it's not something I'm doing wrong with the RIFF box. |
