Exclamation Riff box freezes on update


Riff box stops responding during update to 1.37 firmware. read out is as follows:

Open serial port...OK
Connecting to the RIFF Box...OK

Getting RIFF Box Info...OK
RIFF Box Firmware Version: RECOVERY

Connecting to the Updates Server...OK
Downloading new Firmware from Server...OK

Setting Update Mode...

at the bottom it says "waiting for RIFF box to appear"

it has been saying this for about 3 hours. please advise on how to proceed

when setting update mode just remove box from the cable then insert it back....

ditto, I also had the pause on firmware recovery. confirmed that removing usb cable and inserting back just a few seconds later allowed it to continue.
