What is my problem?

Open serial port...OK
Connecting to the RIFF Box...OK

Getting RIFF Box Info...OK
RIFF Box S/N: Not Available in BOOTCORE Mode.
RIFF Box Bootcore Version: 1.00

i have tried update my box fimware and got error:

Open serial port...OK
Connecting to the RIFF Box...OK

Setting Update Mode...OK
Updating Box's Firmware...OK
Restarting box, please wait...OK
ERROR: The BOX has remained in the BOOTCORE mode.
Firmware Update Failed.

try second time or downgrage firmware to old and done second time to new . and reply

It's Funny! How can you downgrade or upgrade FW when Box in Bootmode? Do you really understand what's problem here? Think twice before posting, please!

this is all that happens when i load the Jtag Manager for the Riff Box, i even left it over night and it still didn't download any updates.

the Jtag manager recognizes the box, but it just doesn't download any updates or firmware from the server.

Hi,

in some cases when you get the message: getting updates... and nothing happens, stop the action by clicking on STOP. The click on check for Updates again. I had this situation 2 or 3 times. Always stopped and started again and it will work properly.

So test it....

Hey guys i figured out what i was doing wrong; i was trying to setup the box on a windows 7 machine. Only to realise that the box works better with windows Xp OS.
