And still does !

Due to latest development with JTAG access and QC implementing RPM cores based on Cortex-M3, with virtually no chances of bypassing security, current RIFF hardware became less useful and with not so much place for updates.

However, even current RIFF hardware can be improved with new functions added by updating it's firmware. This could add direct eMMC access support, with limited speed (due to MCU limitations), but in any case can be very useful to all RIFF users.

For this, we want to see what our users think about this idea, so here is this poll to decide what we gonna do.

Please take Your time and vote.

Thank You.
I think free updates for new users who buy riff in 2015

Technology is always on the run. What you buy today, tomorrow is already old. But it doesn't mean you always have to throw away things.

I believe riff box is the best jag interface so far.
I would go for 2 options. And addon module for existing box and a new box with full new technology.

Cheers

USD 20 is OK, because invested money back from just ONE repaired phone.
Each team need money to pay for R&D and other investments to able serve their customers.

i think new hardware is a good idea but think about old users who bought thier box less than a year.

leaving old users behind is a bad market strategy, but still the decision yours..
