Backup files are created in JTAG Manager root directory, in the folder ‘BackupFiles’. To resurrect SE U20i: Solder JTAG cable to SE U20i JTAG pads; Insert USB Data cable into board and PC; Make sure SE U20i is selected in the list of models; If you use only battery, press Power On key; Click Resurrect button; Wait till software signals a successful operation completion; Disconnect power supply, de-solder JTAG wires; Now phone is in bootable condition, that is, even if it does not start up normally, you can flash it using known flashing methods. Most common errors: The NRST signal is not connected. Please ALWAYS SOLDER THE NRST SIGNAL whenever it is present on the schematics. In case you have JIG please make sure NRST is routed, if not - solder wire manually. Connection is unstable or cannot be established at all. Please make sure JTAG wires are of the SAME LENGTH and not exceed ~10..15 cm in length; make sure RTCK is selected; compensate signals propagation errors by adjusting the RTCK Sampling Frequency; for better stability, avoid using fixed TCK frequency. |
