S8530 dead after boot repair
set is came with hang on wavw2 logo

this is the log

Open serial port...OK
Connecting to the RIFF Box...OK
Firmware Version: 1.34, JTAG Manager Version: 1.48
Selected Resurrector: [Samsung S8530 V1.00]
Connecting to the dead body...OK
Detected dead body ID: 0x1BA00477 - CORRECT!
Set I/O Voltage reads as 2.81V, TCK Frequency is 8 MHz

What exactly means now dead ?

From S8500 I know that stop at Boot Logo--- Reboot means NO IMEI...

So NAND was empty and Restore or wake up is little bit harder...

same problem with me in one s8530 it still restart after Bada but i m not able to repair by any tool any other way for it i have flashed full dump

Hi
For Repair S8530 With Hang on Logo ,You Need :

1-Erase Full Flash Size
2-Resurrect
3-Use "USB+Jig"
4-Reflash With Any Bada 1.2(needed boot file)
5-Repair Imei Not Active
And Enjoy

Exact this step is "mystique"... with RIFF.

For S8500 I use CMM Script to set supervisor mode and S8500 starts WITHOUT IMEI... Then easy to restore NV item 550 with QPST...

S8530 not tested yet... as CMM Script needs other ELF or...

Not every user has all Pro Tools from other teams...

erase with riff
reflash with riff or multiloder
