I`m sure this is not a hardware problem, and as i see on forum, this is a common problem, after trying resurection with riff... Now i use the last update `bug fix update`, the boot version is 1.49.0007, and wifi error, and camera not working too... |

Member: 5202 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 7 | Yes, i`m trying all shuterU firmware package I found. The wifi can be fixed after, but camere still not working, just push me out in meniu. Front camera aslo have the same issue... Now, after relocked, i write original RRU and wifi is working...but camere stil not working... I search in forum, and i found 2 post with the same camera issue after wirite boot with riff...maybe you can find the problem... Thanks... |

It could depend on way how phone was killed at first place, though. Try to get to me on sonork or icq today, will check some docs if available. |

If it doesnt work - You screwed it up BEFORE connecting to RIFF. Second, There are hundreds of people with "Camera not working" problem. Just see the Google result : We don't have time or will to discuss generic problems caused by badly designed HTC hardware. If You have any issues with camera, bad battery, bad reception, please call HTC support and dont waste our time here. Thank You. | |

Those users who have camera or wifi problems, should provide following information: - Phone Model ID and HW version from green sticker on PCB - Original phone market area (sprint usa, asia, europe) - RUU version used to flash phone after resurrection There exist 2 different camera producers, and 3 different camera models in total. We need to diagnose how phone firmware selects proper camera driver. If any of You guys have this problem, my suggestion is to contact me via Sonork or ICQ, so we can perform tests with different HBOOT versions for start. |
