Hi,
Some new information today:

- Linkt latest version for HTC Evo 3D ASIA/INDIA market in attached txt file.

It appears that BOARD_CFG partition holds info about HW version in phone. It's possible that from this info, software loads appropriate camera driver.

Since there are 3 types of cameras (two Sharp, one Liteon), we can assume that this partition could have different board info too.

It would be great if anyone can read this from working phone, and include HW revision data from green sticker on PCB.

To read it, follow these steps:

• Select HTC EVO 3D
• Switch to "Useful Plugins" TAB and start " eMMC Partition table ..." Plugin
• Click "Load Image from Device"
• Select partition #4 - P5A_ID
• Click "Read partition #4"
• Click "Save as *.riffpbin"

This will save complete partitioning structure and BOARD_CFG partition in compressed file.

I have also one E3D ressurected with non working camera, flashing stock firmware dont cured that (asia version also) .

I am ready to beta test of whatever solution.

Last time i have dump HTC Evo 3D liteon Camera working file via RIFF Box, but still camera not working... can u plz provide me HTC Evo 3D Sharp Camera Dump...?

I was repaired htc evo 3d camera problem and thanks legija he help to me he is the best supporter


now how to repair htc evo3d camera problem after riif

first step you must check your camera model because evo3d have 3 different model here is the pdf check your camera model

after you must found a working phone for copy camera driver but camera model is must be same
now connect working phone riffbox go to useful plugins
select emmc partition table and active plugin
click load file from device and select list of partition 5 it name is P73_WLAN
right click partition and save into file this is your backup


now connect your defective phone to riffbox go to emmc partition and active plugin load image from device select part 5 and right click inject from file select your backup click flash partition

it is tested by me workinkg %100 I was repaired my phone with this method sorry my bad speak eng.. if you need help contac me on msn [email protected]

1. flashed your backup of P73wlan (only left camera working)

2. flashed stock RUU_Shooter_U_HTC_Europe_1.20.401.8_Radio_10.59.90 20.00_10.15.9020.06_M_release_219793_signed

and both cameras start working.
