Member: 2265598 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | T999 - ERROR: No response from the RIFF Box. I am runnning into a wall here and can't seem to find a solution. I have an Samsung Galaxy S3 - T999 Device won't turn on but if I plug it into a USB port I get a solid red led on the top. Installed JTAG Manager Version: 1.56 , Firmware Version: 1.37 on Windows 7 64bit. Hooked up the Riffbox with GPG solderless jigs to the T999 and get the following error. ---------------------------------------------------------- Open serial port...OK Connecting to the RIFF Box...OK Firmware Version: 1.37, JTAG Manager Version: 1.56 Selected Resurrector: [Samsung T999 V1.0.4716.5824] Connecting to the dead body...OK Detected dead body ID: 0x407910E1 - CORRECT! Set I/O Voltage reads as 1.79V, TCK Frequency is RTCK Adaptive Clocking RTCK Sampling is: [Sample at MAX] Resurrection sequence started. Establish communication with the phone...OK Initializing internal hardware configuration...OK Uploading resurrector data into memory...OK Starting communication with resurrector...FAILED ERROR: No response from the RIFF Box. ---------------------------------------------------------- I already tried setting the RTCK to 1mhz / 2mhz and some other speeds. I also tried with just the usb cable and no battery / no usb cable and just the DC Power Supply and different batteries. I have the USB to the phone directly from my PC's motherboard USB port and the riffbox USB going directly to the motherboard as well. No USB Hubs involved. Then serial to the GPG adapter to the JTAG Jig. |

Anything underlined should be replaced with the matching symbol or character the rest is exactly how it's written. If I plug the Phone straight into a linux machine and run lsusb command I recieve 05c6:9008 Qualcomm, Inc. Gobi Wireless Modem (QDL mode) |
