Warning !!! I9100G don't do resurrection with Riff - GSM-Forum

i have I9100G and after resurrection with i9108 XL+ dll

resurrection is done but totally dead.....no detect when press resurrect and no power on

i9100G and i9108 and maybe other have omap4430 like omap3630-3430 as i9003 model
after dead boot ,omap go to sleep mode and not detected by riff and accses denid jtag chain too

other user having same problem Don't Do same

You need other tool like ORT .

ORT can repair boot zone of this phone (I9100G) .

r u sure sir..? i think not.. if the phone is totaly damaged and killed by riff not repairable by ort...

I m not sure but i hope ort can do this .Riff loader is in beta stage and shut down phone completely without any warning !!

I wonder why supporter put this unfinished loader in product !!!????

This loader can not repair debug screen problem and not repair completely dead boot in OMAP 4430 , So what is used ????????????????????!!!!!!!!!!

- due to so many different and incompatible revisions of i9100G boards (H, 0G etc)
we temporarily removed boot.bin partition repair.

If any of You "smart" users read the news and follow our update threads, these things would'n happen.

First, there is no need whatsoever to repair boot in phones which are in debug mode, because phone can enter bootloader.
Second, there is no point in using i9108G DLL, when there is dedicated i9100G DLL available.
Third - there are numbers of different HW revisions of this model, some of them NEVER entered production, hence they contain only test firmware, and are totally incompatible with production firmware and boot signatures.

It's easy to blame RIFF, for Your own stupidity.
