Will RIFF Jtag support iPhone models? (if possible)

Hi to all members,
I'm thinking to buy one JTAG tool in this moment, and i want to know if the team it's interested to support apple devices in future (obiviusly if possible, it's only a question)

I Think will be wonderful to support for example the downgrade of the BB

Best Regards
Freeck!

Best answer mr.fone nothing is impossible... if you check some documents on the web iPhone 2G have JTAG access and why not another apple's ARM/infineon besed products?... (iPhone 2G it's too old for invest in support, but new ones will give a boom on sales!)

I open this topic because if riff will try to support these devices... many customers will prefer RIFF! (pick it as a good input)

...and one simple "no" isn't a good answer, please motivate it!

Best Regards
Freeck!

Yes all possible , when enough information avaiable... Bud as you know newer apple devices are built on custom A4 CPU. And i am suggest that apple are dont forgotten to **** all e-fuses , closing access to ARM core in JTAG chain. Really JTAG interface are not so easy as 1..2..3 and access to custom CPU are not possible without detailed datasheets. So thats not simple documented QC or Samsung CPU. Thus digging A4 CPU will take more time than digging 10x well documented CPUs and devices.

Of course, but there are other Apple devices on the market, like 3G and 3GS. Mr. Legija search for dead 3GS boards, so he plane odd this phones to supported list.
Many people need downgrade Iphone 3G to older OS, because OS 4 working worse than bad and Apple stop support this model. This freak company just kill this phone by own stupid politics

Mayby we should just ask Mr. Legija about progress with Apple devices
