here help tools

Resurrecting SE E15i is easy. Phone is auto powered on with USB Data Cable connected to the PC while battery is inserted.
With current resurrector you can choose Unlock or Resurrection operation to perform. During resurrection, you can select which areas to be repaired. Please note, in some cases phone reports failure during firmware update: in this case you may need to select option to erase Modem SW zone during resurrection.
During Unlock operation full backup of relevant zones is made, thus you have no risk killing your phone permanently - you have always an option to restore your phone to its original condition with the backup file. Backup files are created in JTAG Manager root directory, in the folder ‘BackupFiles’.

To resurrect SE E15i:
Ø Solder JTAG cable to SE E15i JTAG pads;
Ø Insert USB Data cable into board and PC;
Ø Make sure SE E15i is selected in the list of models;
Ø If you use only battery, press Power On key;
Ø Click Resurrect button;
Ø Wait till software signals a successful operation completion;
Ø Disconnect power supply, de-solder JTAG wires;

Now phone is in bootable condition, that is, even if it does not start up normally, you can flash it using known flashing methods.

Most common errors:
v The NRST signal is not connected. Please ALWAYS SOLDER THE NRST SIGNAL whenever it is present on the schematics. In case you have JIG please make sure NRST is routed, if not - solder wire manually.
v Connection is unstable or cannot be established at all. Please make sure JTAG wires are of the SAME LENGTH and not exceed ~10..15 cm in length; make sure RTCK is selected; compensate signals propagation errors by adjusting the RTCK Sampling Frequency; for better stability, avoid using fixed TCK frequency.
