How to Downgrade Nokia E7/N8 Etc from v111.030.0609 to lower version - GSM-Forum

Many customers want to downgrade Nokia E7 / N8 Etc
here is simple and 100% working solution

Make backup PM and RPL.
Erase Flash.
Flash desired firmware.
Write RPL, Repair SDD, Local SX4.
If security NOT ok then Local SX4 + write native PM (saved before).

If you follow all these steps you will not have any problem

OK Sir this method is for situation when phone goes to Test Mode that you can take Full backup from RPL and PM or you already have backup but if phone doesn't go to test mode and we don't have Full backup erasing wont damage RPL? I mean is RPL backup from a phone in dead mode 100% Healthy? if we erase that phone in case we don't have PM backup is it safe?

Hello

Downgrade is always done with power on mobile , it cant be work with DEAD mobiles

For Dead mobile ,

First FLASH with Latest Version if Local mode read all backup If not
Backup NPC
Read FullFlash
Check with BEST Simlock alive or not
IF alive u can able Erase / Repair and Restore sim lock in 25 Infinity Credit

sir i have nokia 2700 and i tak all bakup and erras flash and then go don ver, and mobile strart but now mobile imei 12345654321?, and now how restore imei plz explin me, thanx

I downgard 500 111.20.29 to 11.33 after flash securty fail then i upload 500 pm now phone is OK with downgrade virjin Successfully

i have done the steps but when i insert sim card it say sim card not valid, also wifi is not working
