Lumia 1020 ATT USA

I bought a friend a Lumia 1020 but now found that it is the USA Att RM- 877 .
I read info with Best and appears like it is locked but in fact it is unlocked for my Portuguese card. Works perfectly (!!!!!) .
I wonder if is possible flashing this model with a European Rom and remove the configuration of att ?

My phone i think is unlocked because i used in Portugal with sim card from another provider ( Vodafone portugal)

I don´t understand why BEST give me information thas is Locked.

But my real question is if that i cant flash with my dongle BEST another rom. I want a European Rom (RM 885) but i dont know if is possible.

I don´t wnat "kill" my phone hihihihihih

1.best never give wrong info try to trust on log.
2.you can just use 1 country sim so how can you tell it is unlocked?
3.try to test best power.after show unlock you can use any gsm sim in the world with this phone(not support cdma sim)
4.if you need flash then simple to download firmware by navimanager of best
5.better use same product code version to avoid bad issue
6.if you need help about flashing i m sorry use google not have enough free time.

Bull****!

BEST always reads factory locked Lumia phones locked even if they are already unlocked. Reason is, that since SL3 phones are unlocked on the fly during startup. Hash of stored unlock code must match stored and signed hash. BEST can't check if unlock codes are present or not.

BEST only reads Lumia phones unlocked, if they are factory unlocked.

To check Lumia WP 8 / 10 lock status type ##7820# and look for the padlock symbol.

Possible to verify if unlockstring present, but not validate it.

BEST unlock phones via convert them to Neverlock ( Opened SIMLock ).

Possible relock phone, but I removed that option to avoid users from mistakes


Anyway - unlocked phone flashing will not touch simlock.
