N9 doesn't see sim card "sim symbol with a line across" - GSM-Forum

Hi Team,

please i have this strange problem with my nokia N9. was working all ok until i took it to the service provider to configure data services for me.

after the configuration, a restart of the handset was required. however after the restart, my phone doesn't see the sim any more.

we've resetted it and i've also flashed it all to no avail.i've also taken it apart and the sim card reader looks ok.

please what could the problem be and how do i solve this problem???

Phone shows info on *#06# ?

yes it does please. all the relevant details of the device are intact.

If imei is shown - check sim card, sim reader and e.t.c.

Try and check whether the phone Has being RELOCKED...

I mean to say the simlock through Best or any Flasher program
