Nokia Update : No more easy EDL or cables - GSM-Forum

According CVE/ALEPH vulnerabilities and ostla leaks to hamsters, Nokia, with latest security updates CLOSED all EDL ways, used before ( EDL cable and SW way, used in BEST for Nokia 2/5/6/8 )

From now on it uses RSA-2048 server signature verification.

So, until that not implemented in BEST ( ETA - unknown for now ) - you MUST use TESTPOINT.
Nokia 8 will be supported till 1st Febrary 2018 patch (include it) !

Nokia 2 TP is easy. Can be performed with base tech skills ( i.t. remove screws and shields )
Nokia 5-6 TP is a bit difficult. Need have skills in device disassemble.
Nokia 8 TP is EXTRA hard - Don't try it at all. You will broke VERY thin touch panel or lcd, or damage device cooling system.

I'm uploading oreo fw right now. When it will be finished - will let you know with new BEST version.

TP to GND, hold --> Insert USB --> After detected, disconnect TP --> Flash/Do operations.
