Newbee question - GSM-Forum

Ive used GPG dragon for a quite a while. Done few chinese phones but still im a newbee w/ this gadget. so I have some question

1.)Upon opening GPG SW by default. SW choose MTK in Chip, ReadInfo in Action, NOR in Flash Type, Ver3.1108 in Boot...If I click on "Connect"does SW automatically change to what Chip phone have? Coz if not how do we know Chip inside phone?

2.)Why there is no Picture manual for List of Menus, Sub Menus & funtion SW have?
3.)In what scenario does we nned to disassemble phone?

First try with Mtk if phone is not detected then select spread. Most of chines sets are having these two plat form. 60% mtk and 30% spread.

So SW does not automatically detects Chip upon Connect if ReadInfo is checked...Ive just repaired MTK phone havnt encountered other Chip...So need to disassemble phone if not sure Chip inside?

We Know,too much China Mobile use MTK And SPD cpu
we can get one power supply
4.0V or 4.2V connect to Mobile bettery

when we connect the MTK to power supply
the Current pointer stop in 0 ma

when we connect the SPD to power supply
the current pointer reset like (0ma~20 ma after down to 0 ma)
