Let me answer you simple way,

If you use dragon, then, no need root tool like other ABC Tool till yet. Where we have written, root first and do with dragon. We did not say yet because we we did not use these tools with dragon software. Check link:

Pattern Unlock or Format of SPD Android 6820 (No need Root)

http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/9688308-post12.html

Pattern Unlock or Format of MTK Android (No need Root)

http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/9688308-post12.html

Write IMEI of MTK Android (No Need Root)

Write IMEI of SPD Android (No Need Root)

Secondly, we we support PAC Format......We do not support backup for PAC format but we support PAC Format to write. If you get problem backing of flash file with latest version, then, you can use 3.26 Version. Check this thread, Dragon supports SPD 6820 write with factory format what you called "PAC format" :

http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f646...ragon-1718302/

Now, I want to ask a question? Why need to root? Our software can format without root, with a single Click. So we have simple manual. Check this:

You answer me bro, Does other box support this this?

You answer me bro, Does Other box support this?

FINAL Answer is If you have Factory File, then, you can flash with Dragon, No need original Flasher. Thank you for your understanding.
