BruteForce Problems after 12 Hours.. - GSM-Forum

Hi I have a Windows 7 64-Bit AMD Phenom with ATI HD 6990 running at 930mhz, at around 71-74c after ~12 hours of BruteForce on Fenix I get a black screen and have to reboot the PC.

Any ideas?

What PSU are you using?
I think it's power problem.

Got a 900W in there at the moment!

@ this setting you need to have a stable voltage of you gpu..your overclock is to high for a stock fans...you also having trouble of ati driver @ this overclock..880 is the perfect overclock for me..

I think..

After 12 hs, not is a problem of OC. Is a Temp (hot) problem or non Stability voltage .....
Look in the Bios all parametter About range temp / cpu/gpu / Cooler (power off Q-Fan Control must be Power off)
After 12 hs is a strange problem...

I dropped back to 830mhz and we went down even faster... any ideas?

Just to report back, I read on a forum disabling the onboard audio on Asus boards can make a difference and I also downloaded a patched driver from AMD/ATI that was released on the 25th May... I'm so far running 15.5hrs....

Hope this helps anyone with the same problems.
