hd 6990 hardware configuration !!


hello everybody ...

i need your help to get a better configuration for make an pc LBF with two hd6990 crossfire ...

i need to know about motherboard and cpu ...

i need to get an motherboard with x16 pci port speed ???? or the combination of card and soft donīt need this speed ??? ...and with x8 or x4 board the problem is resolved....and the final time for LBF donīt decrease ...

what about the CPU i think with quad core is enough but i was reading some guys that says i7 ,,, i need to know about that,,, is really necessary ???

Off course about PSU 1200W is the best for this cards ..... and about CASE a big one with fans and HAF system like cooler master... this point i know ...

Ok.... lets forget about this reply from piracik,, and lets start reading main post.....

We are talking about HD6990 and some difference beetwen port PciE x16 speed and CPU and other things.....

not 5970

can i add an HD6690 to my old configuration one HD5970 ?

ie can i HD5970 ( 2GB RAM 2xGPU) and HD6690 (4GB RAM 2xGPU) mounted on ASUS RAMPAGE II Extreme (2xPCIE) i7 processor
