ATI RADEON HD 5970 or
ATI RADEON HD 6970

6970 is slower than 5970... so there is nothing to compare.

if you want it fast: 6990 or 5970
if you want it cheap: 6970 or 5870

Best for your choice 5970 its more stble and 2xGPU and faster calculation 5870 its stable then 6970 ....
