BB Torch 9800 unlock failed by power dongle - GSM-Forum

Hello

I tried unlocking a BlackBerry 9800 Torch white.
I was able to read the imei and mep but I got a bad unlocking code. The code failed and it did not unlock the BB.

Please help. Here is the details.

Get from server - ok
MODEL: BlackBerry Torch 9800
IMEI: 353491046650168
SIMLOCK: MEP-04598-005
MEP2 CODE: 7047084363979943
MEP4 CODE: 7044110681094137

I used the mep2 code using a foreign sim and it wasted 1 unlock attempt. I tried using the option/device/sim/mep2 method and that failed too for the above code.

Seem like power dongle is unable to handle torch please help.

BTW I used the latest V1.1 software version and that is the one that failed.

Check IMEI and MEP again.If all is Correct try step by Step put Code Again.

Hi

I actually did a read unlock method connecting the BB to power dongle software. So I tried entering the same mep2 code twice and received "code failed" message. When you say step by step can you elaborate it. I have already wasted 2 attempts with this code.
