problems installing

i got my power dongle in the post today, i installed drivers and nothing seemed to happen so i plugged dongle in USB and straight away i get blue screen and memory test and then crash, very serious error, last time i had blue screen of death was on windows 98 many many years ago.

any suggestion from experienced members to help me ?

how many boxes u have in your computer

uninstall all drivers and install power dongle driver first

ok, i stopped computer from crashing , i simply unistalled power_dongle drv new.exe,

i will try to install old drivers to see if there is any difference. I have blue dongle BTW.

i was having same problem

then i have used ftclean to uninstall all drivers after that all was ok

where do i get android drivers from, and how do i connect phone, eg, disk drive or HTC sync.

in device manager my phone is detected under disk drives as "HTC Androis phone usb device"

is this correct, i cannot seem to update the drivers to ADB if that is what i am supposed to do, it can read phone data, then i hear some USB disconnect/connect beeps and then that same error
