good software for run Win 98 on XP - GSM-Forum

hello all

I have one Mitsubishi MT-040 Galaxy, and have a security code, my question is :

1) they have a manual solution for like old 342 for reset all option of phone ?

2) I use many time this software for unlock network on Win 98,

and now have only computer on XP, so they have a good utility for use this software on XP ? windows utility not work good,

why not use your software in compatibility mode,right click for properties of the software.

I test this, but I see the phone go to test mode but nothink after, maybe don't work good, in the last time if I rember when the phone is unlocked the phone restart,

or maybe I have a security code and this software can reset it ?

the last way is eeprom solution, but I dont' know if it's a big or a small eeprom part like old samsung SGH-2100 if I remember, they have all eeprom of Mitsubishi in this link on Unlockeasy.com web site

good software to run Win 98 on win XP is QEMU.
QEmu can run an OS inside another OS - for example, Windows under Linux.
It is one of the best emulators for computer you can even run mac OS or linux in it.

big tks for your reply, the phone got back to the customer, and I think it's a security code not network unlocking, maybe need eprom solution,

I test this emulator next day for use Win 98 on XP,

next time you can try this:

Mitsubishi factory reset (phone code)
Make the factory reset. Holding * press 65512890

tks for your reply gyuszko, I know they have some reset code for mitsubishi but because I stoped this bussines for a long time I lost all my hold information,

this is not sagem section, so if you want a verry good help go to sagem section,
- about this phone if I remember they have 2 or 3 free software work on Win 98 but don't work all the time, some time give you a bad code, and they have a verry good software but on DOS and I find the manual on this forum, but forget and lost the link, so you need search, maybe this can help you,

FYI :
some oldskool phones and softwares work only with real Com ports.
so , if you use some kind of unibox or com<>usb emulation , there can be a problems

You could try Virtualbox. Its a great emulator.

with Virtual Box you can install WIN98 within WIN-XP.

from there you can run ur desired software.

for more help on virtual box , pls ask GOOGLE Uncle, even YOUTUBE Aunty can also help you to understand how to install VirtualBox within WinXP and install WIN98 in Virtual Box.
