How to enter code in M342i - GSM-Forum

I got a code on this forum (thanks to Unlockall) but I dont know how to enter it.
How many attemps before permanent lock ?

press "c" and same time tape 787090

I got it by keeping pressed "*" while typing 787292.
I was askedd for changing network, yes or not
"Yes" then entered the code.
