Switches off after reparing

Dear mates

I tried to replace an eeprom chip in a mars from another one damaged mars, then I wrote the marse.bin and reflashed it . After doing all these things It showed me only one ring tone in the melodies menu and it switches itself off if I make an outgoing call. Sometimes it displays "All cost" during outgoing calls.

Kindly tell me some solution , I've got three mars with me with same problem.

Regards

Thanx for the reply friend.

Tried that solution as well . Tried it with a brand new atmel 24256 eeprom chip which made my phone dead, so tried uploading eeprom through pony prog in that chip now it says mobile phone malfunction .

Got any idea how can I write the bin into this new eeprom chip.

Regards

Simply !

disolder old eeprom !
reflash your phone
Solder new eeprom !
Write MarsE.bin (eeprom file ) to eeprom using Troky Software
That is all !

Friend

Do you mean to say flashing the phone without the eeprom and then soldering the eeprom and writing the file marse.bin.

I even have tried that , but I think the mobile needs to be switched on for writing the bin file which I cannot do with a empty new eeprom.

Am I missing it somewhere or is there any new procedure to do that.

Regards.

How do I go into testmode friend, after soldering the new eeprom ?

I am having a cable with powersupply which can do the flashing as well as eeprom writing . Can I do it with this or I need some other cable.

Regards
