Com Port Connection Problem - GSM-Forum

when I open msscard service tool version 1.02 its telling me card information card id: 200XXXXX and at the log part it says :card connected.read information...... error:unknown error

And each time when i try to connect to phone it says:
Error: data port: open error

and i can not get comport working

how do i resolve this problem? Is there any setting that i have to do with my computer with the com port?
