Im trying to extract some pictures froma s3 i747m emmc and i keep getting this error ".jpg . With index: 2Extacting file failed." does this mean that this file is corrupted?

Yes, this means that file's data structure is corrupted. You can try also to read whole full flash from the phone and then try to parse/extract data from it.

Thanks for the clarification. I have managed to read the whole full from the phone.

HOW DO I PARSE/EXTRACT DATA FROM IT? What causes this issue?

thats what im doing already....

I click content extractor then choose the option read from file. Once that's done, i choose the pictures i need and click extract. Then. i get the error ".jpg with index 0 extracting file failed"

Yes, as ahve written above, unfortunately files' data structure is corrupted and not possible to recover such files.

How can this be possible if the device was fully functional before removing the emmc. Could it be possible the devicecomes natively encrypted?

How can I verify myself if it's encrypted? Is it something that appears in the logs? The dump is 32gb
