Hello.

Currently there is no repair file for VS985 at the Support Area, but You can try to connect your phone as D855 and do "Factory Repair" using the latest original LG firmwares for VS985 (in "*.dz", "*.kdz" or "*.tot" format). You can try to repair this phone via USB or via eMMC. At first, try to connect and repair phone via USB.

To repair phone via USB, do the following:

1. Install the latest Medusa Pro Software version (Medusa Box Downloads - Software, Drivers, Manual).
2. Download and install SRF "LG_D855_USB.srf" from the Support Area (via "Download *.srf" button in Software).
3. Select "USB" Interface in Software.
4. Select LG D855 in the Software list (it will appear in the list after installation of proper SRF).
5. IF the phone doesn't go into "Qualcomm...9008" Mode automatically, connect Test Point (TP) and connect USB cable - new "Qualcomm..." device should appear in PC Device Manager. To look at TP picture, press "Pinout" button if Software.
6. Release TP.
7. Press "Connect" button in Software to connect the device.
8. When device will be connected, go to "Factory Repair" tab in the Software and press "Repair LG devices..." button.
9. Select the latest original LG firmware for VS985 and press "Write partitions" button.
10. Post here full Software log and say the result.

To repair phone via eMMC, try to do the following:

1. Install the latest Medusa Pro Software version (Medusa Box Downloads - Software, Drivers, Manual).
2. Download and install SRF "LG_D855_EMMC_CDW16G.SRF" from the Support Area (via "Download *.srf" button in Software).
3. Select "eMMC" Interface in Software.
4. Select LG D855 in the Software list (it will appear in the list after installation of proper SRF).
5. Press "Pinout" button to look at eMMC pinout picture and solder all necessary eMMC wires.
6. Connect (plug) the device to Box.
7. Press "Connect" button in Software to connect the device.
8. When device will be connected successfully, go to "Factory Repair" tab in the Software snd press "Repair LG devices..." button.
9. Select the latest original firmware LG for VS985 and press "Write partitions" button.
10. Post here full Software log and say the result.
