Im having trouble repairing this device, Repair process goes smoothly and without errors.

After repair phone doesnt enter into emergency/download mode its just still dead.

Hello.

We have prepared test repair file to repair D280G by using Medusa Pro Software via USB: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B67...FpaEZKTkk/view.

Download it and install (click "Install custom model file (s)" button on the "Welcome" tab of Software and select file). Then select D280G model from the list, click "Connect" button to connect device. After a successful connection, click "Smart repair" button.

Hi, thanks for your response.

Unfortunately i have no medusa PRO activation, ive done some research and in one of your posts it says that old medusa *******rs can use medusa PRO software without any additional activations, just cant use the new medusa PRO features, so i tried to install the medusa PRO software but cant use it, it says that smart card is not found, i even upgraded my smart card firmware but still not working, good thing i can still open mu regular medusa software.

Can you please be kind enough to provide a repair file for regular medusa box?

Please try to install and launch the latest version of Octoplus JTAG PRO Software. Note, that You can launch only one Software at a time.

Hi, thanks again for your quick response.

I've installed the latest octoplus jtag pro software and still the same result, it says that cant find the smart card, i know that only one instance of the software can be used at a time, but i got no other GSMServer software running, if i try to run octoplus LG or regular medusa software they run without any issue.

you are using win7 or xpsp3 ?

Yes, note - new Medusa Pro Box Software doesn't run on Win XP. You should use Win 7 or 10.

Also, try to do the next:
1. Disconnect all devices from PC.
2. Re-connect card in card reader, connect (insert) card reader directly into motherboard USB port (don't use any USB hubs, this is important).
3. Re-boot PC.
4. Re-update card (run Updater from the Software folder).
5. Try to run Medusa Pro Software again.
6. Write here the result.

I tried to run your medusa pro software in my windows 7 box, i thought the drivers issues where fixed by now, i never could make my octopus to run in my win7 box because the smart card drivers, i did some research again and all i could find was to find out wich reader the box had and point the windows driver installer to that driver and install it, turns out my box has a TOP reader according to you firmware updater so i installed the TOPGX4 driver in my box, the smart card get recognized but after a while my windows crashes displaying a blue screen, the error message shows the driver file named SSCDZ or something like that, now everytime i plug my box to it my windows crashes.

i have an octopus box with the jtag module activated.

i am feeling kind of dissapointed because i had those issues before and thats why i kept my windows xp box for use with your tool even tho i know windows xp is out of support from microsoft and now are like a hackers easy target.

im asking you again, would you be kind enough to provide a working driver for the smart card so i can make octopus and medusa tools to work with windows7? ive already tried the drivers in your Box_driver_v5 package, none of them gets automatically recognized and installed by windows.

Please install drivers from here: Medusa Box Downloads - Software, Drivers, Manual, re-boot PC and run Medusa Pro Software again. Write here the result.

i tried both files in a win10 and a win7 box and still no luck, smart card device still unregnized.

and software still saying that smart card is not found,

Hi i have the same problem. the box tell me its repair but the phone still no boot, and the device manager still show qdloader 9008, i try whit medusa software and octopus pro and the phone still the same condition is a lg d280g

Hi.

If after repairing the phone via USB it still doesn't go into Download Mode - maybe, your phone's flash chip doesn't allow to make repair. Some flash chips don't allow to make repair via USB (eMMC flash chip has write data protection and it doesn't allow to write boot or some other partitions via USB, even write process was shown successfully completed).

Unfortunately, repair this phone via eMMC is currently not supported.
