dear best way for full unlock and s-off must use hxc cable(red&green+dongle) for clear s58 !...
for change imei u can use usb and dongle and final way

first of all use latest version of software,because that support almost all 2.3.X firmwares.
and may i know what exactly happen when you direct unlock?
